Well the website is up. I have a goal to be one of the best Meshtastic Infrastructure engineers. This all kind of started as a hobby but I have always done and tested things with a mind set of "I am broke and cannot afford this or that", so over time I would get things and try to make them better. Lately I have been focused on outdoor node setup more so because being able to truly be off grid with effective communications is the goal. I would like people to save money as well and figure things out for themselves when they can.
Focusing on outdoor nodes has me thinking a few routes
Mobile quick attach units for vehicles to serve as a router role (or client if its built right)
Various solar self charging builds. This unfortunately takes a lot of time, I don't touch the solar panels during testing to simulate real world weather such as snow piling up on the solar panel. Waterproofing has the same level of importance, if not more, than self charging.
That being said over the next few months, my solar node build is still outside so I would like to see it last forever. Obviously that's not possible as new batteries are necessary over long periods of time, firmware needs updating, etc.
Aside from that, a quick attach/detach node for vehicles to go bags is on my list and currently being developed, I hope to launch testing this week while the weather is still Michigan winter cold.
That being said, here are some photos. Enjoy - Andy
This sat outside and was covered in snow but I put it back after I ran a quick errand:

This is our new puppy, Freya, shes about 9 months old in the pic (showing this for size of hand comparison and doggo tax)

Last up is my mug shot, so no one is shocked when the see me. Photo is taken, getting ready for low light/night vision training and live fire. RNV 31s white phosphor NODs.
